Wireless Static Pile Load Testing with PileSense – Full Walkthrough
See PileSense in action during a real static pile load test near Cape Town, South Africa. In this project, Franki Africa demonstrates how Motionics’ wireless digital dial gauges and Bluetooth hydraulic pressure gauges simplify pile load testing while delivering accurate, reliable measurements.
The test setup includes an 18 m × 750 mm test pile, four 14 m anchor piles, wireless displacement gauges, an inline Bluetooth pressure gauge, and MultiGage free software for automatic data collection directly into an Excel reporting template. During the test, the digital gauges were run alongside traditional mechanical dial gauges to validate performance.
The result? The digital and mechanical measurements corresponded 100%, while live data was automatically transferred into Excel at the press of a button, generating real-time load-deflection graphs without manual data entry.
