  • PRODUCT

The device works constantly in a low energy mode and is always ready to connect to your iPad. This means there is no need to turn the sensor on/off every time you use it.

ShakerWatch is powered by a CR2477 battery.

ShakerWatch’s battery life is 500hrs including standby time. If the device is not being used for more than a week, we recommend taking out the CR2477 battery.

Loose the 4 screws on top of ShakerWatch and take off the cover, you will have access to the battery compartment. Replace the battery, reinstall the cover and tighten the screws.

ShakerWatch is pre-calibrated before being shipped for an order. Calibration factors are stored in the internal memory of the device.

We do recommend calibrating the device every 12 months.

  • SOFTWARE

The ShakerWatch app is only available to download on iPad.

The ShakerWatch app is a paid app but is already included in the kit purchase.

Please refer to the enclosed user guide in the kit for app download and installation.

Make sure you enter a low pass filter cutoff RPM value in the test setting page. You can start with a number that is a few hundred RPM higher than the machine running speed. Feel free to adjust the value to see which number gives you the better result.

In ShakerWatch app, RPM is calculated as the 1x peak frequency from vibration signal. Due to frequency resolution, there might be a minor difference between the calculated RPM and the actual set RPM. You may adjust ShakerWatch sampling frequency and data length to change its frequency resolution and compare the results.

  • WARRANTY

ShakerWatch’s Limited Warranty is included for free with purchase and provides 1 year of coverage for all defects in material and workmanship from the date of shipment to buyer. For more information visit: www.motionics.com/warranty.

With ShakerWatch’s Extended Warranty, your coverage will extend to 3 years from original shipment date of the device and adds coverage for up to two accidental damages (each subject to a service fee plus applicable tax). Make sure there is no nearby iPad or another app on your iPad connecting to ShakerWatch. You may also take out ShakerWatch battery and reinstall it. If the issue persists, please contact us at info@motionics.com.
